You can literally walk across the street where you have access to miles of white sandy beaches. Located in Stanhope, Lyons puts you within minutes to beaching, biking, hiking, fishing and golfing so you can enjoy the Island’s pristine beauty right from your cottage door. As a bonus, we are located in the center of PEI’s Toursim hub, only 20 minutes from the capital city of Charlottetown and all of its amenities. Also, 20 minutes to North Rustico for famous seafood delights and 25 minutes to Cavendish for Anne of Green Gables and plenty of family fun!

Lyons Cottages is centrally located on the northern coast (ocean side) of PEI at 7 Smallwood Lane, Stanhope, Prince Edward Island, Canada, C0A 1P0.Situated on a penninsula of the North Shore, located directly between the Gulf of St. Lawrence (to the North) and Covehead Bay (to the South), beaches are walking distance in either direction! Just 20 minutes outside of Charlottetown, we are close to all the conveniences that the city has to offer (shopping, dining, entertainment, etc.) but far enough to enjoy nature’s beauty.

The entrance to Lyons Cottages is within the PEI National Park, a park which features some of the Island’s best white sand beaches (Brackley, Stanhope, Dalvay)! The park also features nature trails, a paved bike path, historical sites, scenic outlooks etc. Also within the park, is the Covehead Harbour & Lighthouse which offers deep sea fishing, boat tours & private charters, seafood marts and licensed dining.

Directions to Lyons: (from Charlottetown Airport)

-Follow Rte 15 North approximately 16 km until you reach the National Park gates at Brackley Beach (Rte 15 turns into the Gulfshore Pkwy within the National Park).

-Then, follow the Gulfshore Pkwy over the Covehead bridge to the 3rd street on the right marked Ross Ln.

-Turn Right onto Ross Ln and follow to the dead end where it intersects Smallwood Ln.

-Turn Right onto Smallwood Ln to second building on the left marked “Office” with parking lot out front.
